Announcing: Online Solar Power and Technology Course

The Refrigeration School (RSI) in Phoenix, Arizona is pleased to announce their new Solar Power and Technology online training course. This new and exciting program is for anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of solar installation and maintenance.
According to ASES and US Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics, the solar industry is expected to experience steady growth over the next several years. They predict that 350,000 new jobs will be created over the next four years and in the next year alone, 70,000 solar jobs are expected to be created. At its peak, the solar industry could employ as many people in the United States as major automakers.
The Solar Power and Technology course is RSI’s flagship offering in online training and prepares students for the NABCEP exam. The 120-hour program is designed to allow students to interact with instructors from an online classroom environment. Course material and tests will be available through multimedia outlets. Students will learn basic knowledge and principles of photovoltaic (PV) systems. Terminology, fundamentals, safety, installation equipment, solar theory and cell design and function are all included as part of the program.
For a limited time, students can enroll in the Online Solar Program at RSI for $695. Regular enrollment cost will be raised to $1145. This course marks the first entry into online training for RSI. In the next six months RSI will introduce their Associates of Occupational Studies in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering course online as well as other online offerings.
